A catalogue of the best part of the libraries of a gentleman lately come from travel; of an eminent divine; and of one learned in the common, civil, and ecclesiastical laws of England, deceased. Consisting of a very good collection of books in several faculties and languages, in English, Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, and French: particularly, history relating to Great Britain and Ireland, Parliamentary affairs, law common, civil, and canon, physick and surgery, mathematicks, architecture, voyages and travels, books of prints, husbandry and trade, poetry, plays, and romances, divinity and sermons, philology, dictionaries and lexicons, classicks, com nor. var. t in usum Delph. And other valuable editions of the best printers, viz. Aldis, Vascosan, Robert Stephens, Elzevir, the Louvre, &c. several large paper, gilt, or lettered. Manuscripts of law, history, &c. with others on vellum, curiously illuminated. Which will begin to be sold very cheap (the price being marked in each book) at Dan. Browne's, at the Black-Swan, without Temple-Bar, on Monday the 20th of May. 1723. Catalogues may be had at Mr. Chetwood's in Russel-street, Covent-Garden; Mr. Greaves in St. James's-street; Mr. Chapman, in Pallmall; Mr. Stokoe's against the Meuse-Gate, Charing-Cross; Mr. King's, in Westminster-Hall; Mr. Meigham's, under Grays-Inn Gate, Holborn; Mr. Strahan's in Cornhill, booksellers; the Chapter coffee-house in Pater-noster-Row; and at the place of sale.
