    Shows "Lawlins Lowndes Esq" in manuscript ink in the title cartouche. A proof state of the map? No similar examples noted in Cumming. Cumming identifies only two states of the map - the first lacking the imprint in lower margin of "H. Parker in Cornhill" and the second with the imprint added. Rumsey (Image No : 5174000 on www.davidrumsey.com - viewed May 2014) lists only 6 copies of the map extant; 5 in institutions in the United States and 1 in the British Museum (this example). Rumsey makes no reference to any examples with manuscript to the title cartouche.
