  • Description: Teaching has changed. The teacher-scholar is largely being replaced by the teacher-manager, with politics an example. Teachers in Britain have considerable choice in selecting texts and, for teachers of politics, there is a great range of resources other than textbooks, newspapers and broadcast media. Some resources are more valuable than others. New media of the information revolution make many resources, pictures as well as words, available to teachers and to students. The Politics Association Resource Centre serves politics teachers of the United Kingdom.
