The project entailed the creation of a centre for visual arts, music and literature in the Community of Madrid. The project involved constructing a nine floor building with a total area of 17,214 sqm. The centre offers art exhibitions, a programme of music, an audiovisual library and a network of cultural activities aimed at many audiences. It is also home to the Alcobendas Photography Collection. The project was developed through a participatory planning process with the involvement of many local associations.
