    Title from Köhlin.
    Relief shown pictorially.
Shows "H. von Ostening: delin:" at lower right (Köhlin suggests examples of the map are known with and without this signature, but does not reference this K.Top example of the map).
Shows scale bar as "Gemeine Teutsche Meilen" at lower left.
This example of the map untitled. However, the map is also known as part of a separately published wall map with additional title and text (printed separately) pasted around - titled "AMORE PACIS" and with text beginning "Geographische Carten, von gantz Teuttschlandt ...". See Köhlin.
Matthaeus Merian is the map's draftsman - Meurer.
Shows river systems (the British Library's online catalogue previously called this "A Map of the Rivers in Germany, by H. von d'Ostening").
The map's purpose is to show the position of Swedish military stations and battle fields during The Thirty Years' War - Köhlin.
Compare an example of the map held by the National Library of Sweden (KoB St f. Y 50, 745) in Stockholm (or the "Kungl. Biblioteket" as it is referred to in Imago Mundi 8 and whose example of the map is reproduced there), which Köhlin describes as a proof state of the map for not having titles and surrounding text, just as with this K.Top example.
